Community Assembly

What is the Community Assembly?

The Chugach Educational Corporation (CEC) is a non-profit organization that facilitates community discussions and manages the Assembly finances through community input. Students, Parents, and Staff are all automatically a member of the Community Assembly.

The Assembly votes in new CEC board members each spring. The Chugach Community Assembly is our school’s version of a “PTA.” Meetings address school-wide events and concerns and the group collectively determines how to spend Assembly funds to support the school’s activities.
