Chugach Optional Elementary will be holding school tours for prospective parents during February and March! If you are interested in entering your students in the Anchorage School District lottery for Chugach Optional, we invite you to attend our parent-led tours to learn all about Chugach’s open optional program, theme- and project-based learning, family participation, fundraising, see our unique space, meet our chickens, and ask all of your questions!

Tours will be held on the following days: Monday, March 30 and Wednesday April 8th from 9-10 a.m.  No need to register in advance. Please call (907) 742-3730 with any questions. We look forward to seeing you on our tours! 

The fine print: Please be prepared to sign in at the front desk using your state-issued ID. Children are welcome to attend with you. We will have kid-friendly activities in our multipurpose room. Please note that any snacks you bring along will need to be kept in the multipurpose room to help us keep classrooms and other community spaces allergen free.
